Tax relief and you

Don’t Miss Out on Your Entitlement

Every year, thousands of Irish patients miss the opportunity to claim back part of their dental expenses. If you are considering treatments such as implants, orthodontics, or crowns, remember that you could be entitled to significant savings.

What Is the Med 2 Form?

The Med 2 Form is a document that allows you to claim 20% tax relief on qualifying dental treatments in Ireland. This means that if you spend €1,000 on eligible treatment, you may be able to claim back €200 through Revenue.

How to Claim Your Dental Tax Relief?

Ask us at HappyDental Dundrum to complete your Med 2 Form at the end of treatment.
Submit the completed form to Revenue either online (through MyAccount) or via your accountant.
Revenue will process your claim, and you may receive 20% back on the cost of eligible treatments.
We provide Med 2 Forms free of charge for all qualifying treatments carried out at our clinic.
